Arriba Abajo is a cantina-themed bar and restaurant inside the Thompson and Tommie Austin, two premier lifestyle hotels in Downtown Austin. This new concept will open in early Spring and include 17,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor dining and lounge space, multiple venues for private events, and a pool deck servicing hotel guests and residents. Restaurant servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The ideal candidate will develop menu knowledge and give recommendations from our offerings of cuisine and drink. The restaurant servers are integral to creating a memorable stay through engaging conversation and excellent customer service.
The Hotels
Thompson Austin offers 212 luxury guestrooms and suites plus 17 residences, a 10,000 sq ft wellness center, three restaurant and bar concepts, an expansive pool deck, private cabanas, and over 10,000 sq ft of flexible and traditional event space. The 193‑king room Tommie Austin is built for the spirited adventurer. Both hotels are anchored on the ground floor by a re‑imagined cantina‑themed restaurant, a 13,000 sq ft indoor and outdoor oasis and The 5th Street Diner + The Royale Room.
