Role Purpose
The aircraft Fueler is responsible for the safe and efficient fueling and defueling of aircraft at the airport. The role involves performing simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with regards to weight, measurement, and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling. You must maintain a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.

Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.

Account accurately for fuel transactions.

Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.

Defuel aircraft as directed.

Qualifications

Proficient reading, writing and speaking in English and basic math calculations.

Ability to lift and move up to 70 lb.

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Availability and flexibility for variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Prior experience preferred, including a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
