Forklift Operator – Starting at $20.24/hr – Jacksonville, FL
R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Full‑time Forklift Operators at our Jacksonville, FL service center. As a Forklift Operator you will be tasked with moving all types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 ft long while operating a forklift on a roofed but non‑climate‑controlled dock.
Responsibilities
Safely move freight in and out of trailers, operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock, read manifests and computer displays, and perform work in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
Ability to read manifests
Ability to read/interact with a computer display
Forklift experience
Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
Previous forklift experience in a fast‑paced environment
Some LTL experience
