Location of Employment: 10th Judicial District, Johnson County, KS
Position/Salary: Trial Court Clerk II, Grade 18 - $18.57 hourly (non-negotiable)
Work week requirements: Full-Time, 40 hr/week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, year-round, in-person

Job Duties
This position is in the Clerk of the District Courts Office. Duties include assisting the public, answering phone calls and emails, scanning and quality checking documents. All other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent and one-year experience in clerical work preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of modern office management practices and procedures
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to understand court procedures and policies
Skills in operating office equipment
Must be able to work with some degree of independence and responsibility
Must have good customer service skills
Maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
Courteous, professional and cooperative
Knowledge of the court system or legal experience is a plus
Spanish speaking is a plus
