Position Summary:
Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching, and digging.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications:
Work outdoors, potentially in extreme climates.
Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment safely and professionally, ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
Perform pre- and post-inspections and routine maintenance.
Ability to sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl repeatedly.
Capable of working extended hours and variable shifts.
Preferred certifications: HAZWOPPER, TENORM, H2S, Confined Space and Rescue, First Aid.
OSHA 10 required within 30 days of hire.
Assist crew members as needed, which may include manual labor outside your ticketed trade.
Class A CDL preferred; Class B CDL acceptable.
May work around hazardous materials.
Hydrovac experience preferred.
Set up and inspect grounding/bonding procedures for hydrovac operations.
Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
Driver's License required.
Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
