
Warehouse Coordinator

Position Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Their duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations, and documenting damages to inventory.
Key Duties and Essential Functions
Processes the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
Collaborates and communicates with all roles involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.

Required Qualification
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Construction background, strongly preferred. Position requires the ability to construct pallets/skids/crates for shipping.
6+ months logistics, retail, or customer service experience
Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
Receiving, stocking, and stacking
Pulling, packing, and loading
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong sense of time organization and urgency
Able to work independently and within a team
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
Ability to pass DOT physical and drive a flatbed truck for deliveries (No CDL required)
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This role requires regular physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. The employee is required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Standard warehouse environment: forklift, pallet jack, pallet racking, crates, etc. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Safety-Sensitive Designation
Operate heavy equipment in areas shared with pedestrian traffic.
Handle high‑stacked, heavy, or hazardous materials.
Subject to OSHA and company equipment operation standards.
Operate pallet jacks, conveyors, and other material handling equipment.
Work near loading docks and moving vehicles.
Required to verify and handle hazardous or fragile shipments.
Climb ladders, operate lifts, or enter racking systems.
May use scanners, radios, and communication tools while mobile.
Employees in This Role Are Subject To
Drug and alcohol testing under federal and/or company policies.
Fitness‑for‑duty evaluations as required.
Strict adherence to safety policies and standard operating procedures.
Compensation: $24 - $31.50 per hour depending on experience.
