The Opportunity
We’re seeking a
Jira Cloud Administrator
to support and enhance enterprise Agile tooling across our client’s large‑scale environment. The individual will configure, optimize, and govern Jira Cloud to meet the needs of diverse Agile teams while ensuring alignment with organizational standards, security requirements, and best practices. They will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver scalable workflows, automation, and integrations that improve the overall developer and delivery experience.

Responsibilities
Administer and configure Jira Cloud (Software + Service Management) and Confluence Cloud across multiple business lines.
Implement Jira structures aligned with scaled Agile frameworks and enterprise Agile standards.
Design and maintain custom workflows, screens, schemes, fields, filters, and dashboards.
Manage user access, roles, and permissions through Atlassian Access and SSO identity platforms.
Create and maintain automation rules and integrations (Slack, GitHub, ServiceNow).
Ensure configurations align with security, audit, and governance requirements.
Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud users.
Develop documentation, training materials, and best‑practice guidelines.
Participate in Atlassian Cloud upgrades, testing, and change management processes.
Required Qualifications
3–5+ years of Jira Administration experience (including Jira Cloud) in a large enterprise.
Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe.
Proficient in JQL, Jira automation, and project configuration.
Hands‑on experience with Atlassian Cloud admin: user management, permission schemes, global settings.
Experience supporting large user populations (5,000+ preferred).
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Experience in governed or regulated industries (financial services, banking, fintech) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Atlassian certifications (ACP‑120, ACP‑620).
Experience with ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira, and Jira Service Management.
Experience integrating Jira Cloud with analytics/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Familiarity with Atlassian REST APIs or scripting (Python, Groovy, JavaScript).
Exposure to Change Management, IIQ, and enterprise security compliance.
