This position may be eligible for hybrid remote work in accordance with state policy and the agency’s remote work program but does require weekly onsite work.

We currently have an opening for an IT Applications Systems Specialist I this is a temporary supplemental position with North Carolina Department of Information Technology - Office of State Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Workday Technical Lead - Conversion, Integration and Testing Responsible for partnering with the Systems Integrator’s Technical Lead to:

o Provide overall leadership and subject matter expertise in implementing the technical areas in scope and overseeing the timely completion of deliverables required by the Project Work Plan for areas of responsibility.

o Works with the subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop the test strategy and test plans, identify test requirements, create test scenarios, and oversee the execution of the test scenarios independently and as part of integration and end-to-end testing.

o Oversee the state’s responsibilities with regards to development including the design and build of integrations, reports, conversions, extensions, and workflows.

o Oversee the overall testing of integrations, conversions, and reporting solutions.

o Serve as an advisor on complex technical issues facing the team.

o Design technical documentation that outlines the solution design, implementation details, conversion details and support procedures.

o Be responsible for coordinating testing efforts to validate that the configured solution meets defined requirements.
