Oracle Cloud Engineer
Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As an Oracle Cloud Architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your cloud architecture skills to improve mission‑critical applications and products? We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of the nation's toughest problems.
This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment using current cloud capabilities. Using your technical experience, you’ll work with industry leaders to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process.
You’ll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on‑premise, cloud‑based, and hybrid resources. You’ll work with your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you’ll grow your skills in areas like AI while developing critical systems for the defense industry.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software with a cloud‑first development approach
5+ years of experience with OCI enterprise solutions
3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud‑native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies, security groups, and network security
3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
Experience creating advanced OCI solutions
Experience developing and deploying production geospatial solutions from concept to O & M
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor’s degree
Nice to Have
Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation
Experience designing solutions to enable migration from AWS to OCI
Experience with OCI AI, ML and LLM offerings
Experience designing OCI solutions optimized for geospatial workloads
Experience leading technical initiatives in large‑scale environments
Experience with system design, including scalability and reliability
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
OCI Certifications such as OCI Architect or OCI Developer Certification
IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certification
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
