Responsibilities may also include intramural director, game management, marketing, advertising and promotions, special events, weight room/fitness center director and Office of Admission recruiting. Responsibilities may include budgeting and hiring, and supervision of student workers. Coaching and administrative duties will be 75% of the assignment. The position includes teaching assignment of six credits (25%) that reflect the candidate's degree, prior teaching experience and/or area of expertise.**Minimum Qualifications*** Master's degree* Collegiate basketball coaching experience* Knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations* Ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written skills* Understanding and appreciation for Liberal Arts Education* Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds in support of university mission to foster a global perspective**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience with Upper Midwest collegiate recruiting* Experience with camp coordinator experience* Excellent verbal and written communications skills and effective human relation skills required.* Experience using Microsoft Office and Synergy**Priority will be given to those who apply by 4/27/2026****Telework (Yes/No)**No**About**Southwest Minnesota State University is one of seven universities in the Minnesota State system.
