Overview
The Preservation Trust of Vermont (PTV) builds community through the preservation of historic buildings, villages, and downtowns. PTV worked on 362 preservation and revitalization projects in 155 Vermont communities last year.
Responsibilities
Support PTV’s Village Trust Initiative (VTI) program, a collaboration with the Vermont Council on Rural Development and the Vermont Community Foundation, to help 20 communities of 2,500 or fewer complete transformational community development projects involving a historic building or settlement pattern.
Coordinate with partner organizations, rural communities, and stakeholders to advance project milestones.
Assist in administering program activities and requirements, including documentation and reporting related to federal grant programs (as applicable).
Qualifications
Five years of community and economic development or historic preservation experience.
Experience administering federal grant programs.
Exceptional project management skills.
Passion for working in partnership with rural communities.

This is a grant funded position and intended to last for three years.
Salary Range: $62,000-$65,000
