Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Pull eggs from incubators onto Embrex Machine
Stack down from machine to hatcher dollies
Clean setter floors, fan blades, etc.
Back up egg setters
Clean Embrex machine, hatcher halls, and fog daily
Discard eggs from egg remover into vacuum system daily
Wash boxes Sunday morning
Perform other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by the hatchery manager
Qualifications
Good hand‑eye coordination
Able to read numbers and colors
License and Certification
Embrex Certification
Physical Demands
Continuously: standing, walking
Frequently: lifting, turning, twisting, bending, squatting, pushing, grasping, kneeling, reaching forward, pulling, stretching
Work Environment
Wet floors
Warm temperatures
Protective Equipment
Safety glasses
Rubber gloves
Safety Factors
Know how to use and locate the emergency stop switch
Know location of primary and secondary emergency exits
Know and use proper lifting techniques
