As a
Security Officer Unarmed Patrol and Access Control
in
Pottstown, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with strong customer service and communication. This is a Part-Time security role built on teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

Job Schedule:
Day Time; Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
What You'll Do
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting them according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and verify that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas, following visitor processing and employee entry procedures.
Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts about security-related issues, monitoring for hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with orderly response during alarms and operational disruptions.
Minimum Requirements
Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
