
Housekeeper \ Laundry Aide both positions Part Time Benefited

Our Housekeepers play an important role in the comfort of our senior living residents. They ensure the cleanliness of resident rooms and apartments while respecting their personal items and space. They are also responsible for cleaning common areas and bathrooms. The right person for this role will also be friendly, attentive, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with our senior residents.
The Laundry Aide is responsible for performing the duties necessary to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all resident and facility Laundry.
Key Responsibilities
Taking out the trash
Cleaning windows
Cleaning carpets
Other tasks as requested by supervisor
Laundry Aide
Keeping the laundry room and laundry storage areas clean and orderly.
Keeps laundry equipment clean and in working order. Reports all equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
Maintains adequate inventory of laundry to residents within 24-48 hours or receipt.
Picks up dirty laundry from housekeeping carts as needed.
Performs janitorial duties as assigned.
Reports to work in uniform assigned.
Participates in in-service training.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs and bend, crawl, stoop, push, and lift in order to deliver care and services as needed.
Practices safety procedures and complies with established reporting of accidents and injuries.

Ability to operate industrial laundry and carpet-cleaning equipment
