Lifestyle Assistant
Pay:
$15.00-$18.38/hour based upon experience and education
Responsibilities
Think part event planner, part community builder, part joy-instigator.
Lead daily activities, events, and group programming that residents genuinely look forward to
Help plan and execute a monthly lifestyle calendar full of variety and engagement
Welcome new residents with orientations and interest inventories to help them feel at home from day one
Build meaningful relationships and rapport with residents
Keep lifestyle spaces and supplies organized, clean, and ready for action
Support wellness and exercise programs as needed
Collaborate with the team to identify additional services or support opportunities for residents
Communicate any changes in resident condition to the care team for follow-up
Qualifications
1+ year of experience in hospitality, activities, or a related field
Experience working with the aging population (preferred)
A natural ability to connect with people and create a welcoming environment
Creativity—you can turn a simple idea into a memorable experience
Strong organization and attention to detail
Comfort working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Ability to stay calm, flexible, and positive in all situations
