Marcus Gleysteen Architects is a nationally recognized residential firm headquartered in Deep River, CT. We run our small office as a collaborative studio – we enjoy open design discussions and knowledge sharing. We are currently seeking a highly talented and driven Summer Design Intern to join our team.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited M.Arch program or have a minimum of three years in a B.Arch program (or equivalent)
Keen interest in custom residential architecture
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
Demonstrated design and visualization ability
Prior architectural office experience strongly preferred
Legal authorization to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship
Responsibilities
Drafting and 3D modeling
Project research
Production of presentation and marketing materials
Participation in design discussions and reviews
Assistance with site documentation and occasional site visits
General office support
Details
Available in‑office in Deep River, CT, or fully remote.
Approximately 10–12 weeks, beginning in late May or June 2026.
Compensated; rate is commensurate with experience.
