Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and technically fluent

Software Request & Packaging Coordinator

to join our fast-paced corporate IT environment. This role serves as the primary liaison between business users and the IT packaging and deployment teams, ensuring software requests are efficiently reviewed, packaged, tested, and released into production. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of software packaging processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-visibility role.

What you’ll do

Serve as the main point of contact for business users submitting software requests

Guide requestors through the end-to-end process—from initial submission and technical review to packaging, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and production release

Coordinate with packaging engineers, security teams, and application owners to ensure all software meets organizational standards and compliance requirements

Track, document, and report on request status, dependencies, and timelines using internal tools and systems

Facilitate UAT coordination, feedback collection, and final deployment sign-offs

Identify and resolve issues or bottlenecks quickly to maintain delivery timelines

Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and resolutions

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of common business software, packaging technologies (e.g., MSI, App‑V, Intune, SCCM), and IT service management tools

Support continuous improvement of request and packaging workflows, focusing on efficiency and user experience

Required Qualifications

2 - 5 years of experience in a large, fast-paced corporate or enterprise IT environment

Strong working knowledge of software packaging and deployment processes

Familiarity with tools such as

SCCM, Intune, Active Directory, ServiceNow , or similar systems

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple concurrent requests

Demonstrated problem-solving ability and responsiveness under tight deadlines

Proficiency with productivity software (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, Teams)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting end user computing or application deployment functions

Understanding of software licensing and security review processes

Technical background in IT, computer science, or related field (degree or equivalent experience)

Education

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $79,310.00 - $158,620.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
