The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, graduation from an accredited surgical program, and experience assisting surgeons in various surgical settings. Responsibilities include assisting in surgeries, ensuring patient safety, and following all hospital regulations. BLS and Certified Surgical Technologist First Assistant certifications are required, along with 2 years of surgical tech experience preferred.
