Work location: 8160 Walnut Hill Lane, Suite 116, Dallas, TX 75231
Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p

Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
CMA – Current Medical Assistant Certification (required)
1 year Medical Assistant experience (strongly preferred)
BCLS (preferred)
Ability to perform EKGs, draw blood and administer injections
Basic computer skills with medical management applications
Effective communication with staff and patients
Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations
Sound judgement in emergency situations and ability to take appropriate action
Positive, customer‑focused attitude towards staff and patients
Strong work ethic with professionalism
Responsibilities
Deliver care to patients using the Certified Medical Assistant process
Perform general patient care following standards and procedures
Greet and prepare patients for the healthcare provider
Obtain and record vital signs, medications, allergies, etc.
Administer medications and vaccines via various routes
Collect blood samples and prepare specimens for lab analysis; perform routine tests such as EKG
Schedule diagnostic testing and follow up for completion
Document patient plans, tests, and results in the medical record
Communicate test results and care plans to patients by phone or mail
Prepare, clean, sterilize instruments; maintain equipment; keep exam rooms stocked and orderly
Escalate non‑routine issues to manager or provider
Complete safety checklists and quality controls
Ensure patient safety and privacy rights
Work in front office as needed and perform duties assigned by staff
