
Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Position Responsibilities
Performs maintenance on factory equipment
Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Uses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment
Responds to requests for equipment repair
Maintains and manages components and replacement part inventories
Works under limited supervision
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC (BSC).

Basic Qualifications
Availability to work variable shifts, with the understanding that your assigned shift will not be confirmed until after training
1+ year of aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication experience
1+ years of experience in equipment maintenance
1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
1+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters
1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience troubleshooting and operating PLCs (preferably Siemens and Allen Bradley).
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with CNCs, lathes, and fabrication equipment.
1+ years of mechanical troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
1+ years of electrical troubleshooting experience utilizing volt‑ohm meters and electrical system drawings.
Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Shift
Variable shift means you will be assigned a shift at the time of hire based on business needs. You will remain on your assigned work shift until re‑evaluation is required. Shifts assigned for training may differ from your permanent work shift.
Pay & Benefits
Summary Pay Range: $59,000-$65,000
