Join our Houston Business Aviation MRO operation as an Aircraft Engine Mechanic,
where you will learn to perform comprehensive overhauls on Honeywell turbofan engines.
This includes disassembly, inspection, identifying and correcting discrepancies, engine builds, and supporting engine performance testing.
What You’ll Do:
Perform turbofan overhauls, including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly in MRO test cell environment.
Inspect engine parts upon removal, taking measurements to match upon re-assembly utilizing calipers, borescopes, and micrometers.
Evaluates removed components for serviceability and document discrepancies.
Documents all work accomplished in a clear, concise and accurate manner.
Accomplish Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directive.
Reads and interprets maintenance manual procedures, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams.
Position Requirements:
Active FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License - Required at time of hire.
Formal Aviation Maintenance Training (Military, Aeronautical Academy, Technical School, and/or an Aviation Associate’s Degree).
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Characteristics:
Prior experience servicing, inspecting, or overhauling turbofan engines.
Prior experience working in a mechanical capacity such as an automotive, assembly, or industrial technician.
Experience with Honeywell TFE 731 and/or CFE738 engines.
Factory authorized / OEM training or certifications.
