Position Description

Concordia University Wisconsin seeks a Men's Basketball Part‑Time Assistant Coach who will serve under the direction of the Head Coach. This position will assist in several capacities including practice, scouting, player development, campus recruitment, community service, and overseeing the basketball developmental team.
Job Duties & Responsibilities

Assists student‑athletes during practices and competitions with technical aspects of game preparation and strategy for player development.
Possess the ability to coach players in both groups and individually based on positions.
Scout assigned opponents as assigned by the coaching staff.
Assists the basketball staff with recruiting efforts.
Assists coaching staff with video evaluation.
Compliance with all NCAA, conference, and institutional rules.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Knowledge of NCAA and conference by‑laws.
Understanding of the Mission of Concordia University Wisconsin.
Ability to interact in a professional manner with people and present a positive image of Concordia University.
Ability to work nights and weekends with extensive travel.
Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS).
Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree and collegiate playing experience or coaching experience is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a part‑time, seasonal position paid by way of bi‑monthly stipend throughout the duration of the sport/program season. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience. This position is not eligible for employee benefits.
