Salary
$2,550–$3,200 per class as determined by qualifications and enrollments.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduates of all abilities.

Demonstrated commitment to using innovative instructional techniques and technologies, including online course management systems.

Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse populations, such as under‑resourced and first‑generation students.

Primary Responsibilities

Teach assigned chemistry courses in accordance with the SRSU’s approved course descriptions.

Incorporate appropriate teaching‑learning strategies, technologies, and assessment methods for evaluating student learning into the course.

Follow guidelines for preparing and submitting course syllabi.

Meet all scheduled classes and adhere to the academic schedule, including final exam times.

Adhere to professional and ethical standards of conduct.
