Description
Engineering & Technology (E&T) Associate Manager in the Orlando Software Engineering Department. This role is responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, and hardware/software integration and verification. The individual will develop embedded software in C++ and Linux operating system in an Agile environment using JIRA, Git and Confluence. The individual will need to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the development lifecycle.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Embedded Software Engineering Asc Manager you will lead and drive end-to-end software delivery for embedded C++/Linux applications in an Agile environment.
Maintain and evolve simulation software libraries that model tactical components and operational environments.
Define, design, code, test, integrate, and verify embedded simulation software using JIRA, Git, and Confluence.
Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team, providing technical coaching, career development, and performance feedback.
Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities while ensuring adherence to standards, processes, and tools.
Lead recruitment, training, salary planning, and competency development; act as the technical conscience for the program.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related sciences
Embedded software lead with experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
Experience with requirements analysis, design, coding, unit test, integration, and verification
Experience in embedded real-time software programming with C/C++ design patterns, unit testing, automated validation methodologies and tools
Software implementation and testing on hardware platforms in a lab environment
Linux, DDS, Git, Jira
Desired Skills
Experience with MISRA and AOP-52 standards
Strong communication skills with multiple levels of customer engagement
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
