How You Will Make an Impact
The Maintenance Technician I will be responsible for maintaining the condition of the manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to repairing and/or the replacement of failed components and performing preventive maintenance measures when applicable. This role is responsible for developing short and/or long-term repairs that are geared towards improving quality as well as efficiency.
Basic maintenance task, such as greasing, oiling, grinding, drilling, disassembling and reassembling simple and complex machine parts.
Ability to follow maintenance procedures and maintain proper documentation, drawings, and files. Knowledgeable in hydraulic and pneumatic controls, materials, and components.
Operate, set, and regulate/adjust machinery.
Use hand‑held tools/machinery/instruments, both manual and powered precision and non‑precision.
Develop short and/or long‑term repairs that are geared towards improving quality as well as efficiency.
Support efforts to meet line product Defects Per Million Opportunities, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, and Scrap goals as well as equipment Mean Time Between Failures goals.
Participate in advance process and quality planning (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities for new equipment.
Electrical & Electronic Troubleshooting of machine issues.
Diagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment per manufacturer guidelines, and via on‑the‑job training.
Perform corrective & preventive maintenance.
Interpret schematic, pneumatic and wiring diagrams.
Work with engineers and managers for coordination of line moves, installations, and other improvement activities.
Work cooperatively as a team with engineering, operations, logistics, quality and environmental health and safety departments.
Establish and maintain productive and effective working relationships with team members and other maintenance team members.
Mentor and train operations personnel in proper machine maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
Knowledge, use and understanding of general‑purpose measuring instruments.
Understand and comply with all procedures pertaining to a given work environment; assist in designing improvements to the work environment.
Participate, comply and support the environmental, health and safety system requirements.
Utilize prior knowledge, manufacturer guidelines, and on‑the‑job training to perform daily activities safely and effectively.
Reduce downtime by working efficiently and performing countermeasures aimed at root cause analysis.
Safely execute workplace rules and standards.
Monitor the safety, quality and productivity of the production machinery, and equipment.
Exercise knowledge of industrial electricity, including single‑phase and three‑phase power, motors, protective devices, and photo sensors.
Complete work order processes documentation for complete work history and parts inventory tracking.
Submit and assist with the creation and resolution of Continuous Improvements.
The Environment
Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures, such as Lock Out Tag Out / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as Electrostatic Discharge Composite Toe Shoes, Smock, and other PPE as required.
This role is within a climate‑controlled facility where you will be exposed to robot and pedestrian noise.
The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

4 days on / 4 days off, rotating schedule 8:00am – 6:30pm

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of prior maintenance or production experience at AUMOVIO
Excellent mechanical ability is essential regarding understanding of mechanics and troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics in equipment manuals
Ability to read and interpret electronic and pneumatic schematics
1+ years experience working with machines (pulleys, levers, etc.), pneumatics, hydraulics, gears, reducers, bearings, lubrication theory, drive components (sheaves, sprockets, chain belts, take‑ups), and equipment alignment.
1+ years experience with PM procedures, including performing PMs, logging completion, etc.
Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer skills – Competence in personal computer must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, e‑mail) and familiar with other database related software.
Ability to read, write and speak English

Associate of Applied Science in Electronics or other technical degree or equivalent military training
3+ years experience troubleshooting electronic and electro-mechanical systems
Be self-starting and be able to work independently or with a team.
Must be familiar with electronics such as photo sensors, PLCs, remote I/Os, servo drives, and variable frequency drives.
Intermediate knowledge with AC/DC theory, relays, switches, solenoids, fuses, breakers, power generation and distribution (including 48V 3‑phase), electrical safety, digital multimeter operation and motor theory and protection.
Intermediate knowledge with production facility's systems, including conveyors, robotic equipment, and (Automated Storage and Retrieval System, AKL and Auto Guided Vehicles)
PLC programming
