Maintenance Technician Second Shift

Randstad is looking for a third‑shift maintenance technician to work at a manufacturing company on Jacksonville's Southside. The shift runs from 3:15 PM to 11:30 AM, Monday through Friday nights with weekends as required.
Salary: $56,000 – $60,500 per year. Shift: First. Work hours: 3 PM – 11 PM. Education: High School.
Responsibilities
Perform daily machine changeovers, as required by production.
Fabricate, modify, build and re‑build machinery and equipment parts and molds to ensure proper and efficient operation.
Operate small equipment such as forklifts and man lifts.
Assist with inventory.
Work with Engineering on machinery and equipment issues.
Complete special projects as required.
Perform and document machine and equipment preventive maintenance.
Perform electrical, plumbing and facility maintenance, as required.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Possess PLC knowledge and hands‑on experience with PLC, including troubleshooting using software.
Have electrical knowledge of 480‑volt AC, 3‑phase, 120‑volt AC and 24‑volt AC/DC, and use of a digital voltmeter.
Have manufacturing electrical and mechanical experience.
Have pneumatic controls and actuator experience.
Have servo experience (more exposure and understanding is a bonus; more intricate knowledge is a bonus).
Be familiar with and able to use basic shop and hand tools, e.g., drills, bandsaws, grinders (milling machine and lathe are a plus).
Welding experience is a bonus.
Essential Functions
Work in a smoke‑free environment.
Wear steel‑toe shoes.
Manual lifting up to 50 lbs.
Stand for up to 6 hours at a time.
