About the Role
Pendant Staffing, a subsidiary of The Ensign Group, connects Registered Nurses with Ensign‑affiliated skilled nursing facilities across the U.S. We provide visa sponsorship and relocation support for international RNs ready to begin their immigrant visa journey. This bilingual role (English/Spanish required) is based in Hidalgo County, TX, offering the opportunity to deliver compassionate care in a supportive environment.
You will provide direct nursing care to residents in skilled nursing facilities, administer medications, assess patient needs, and collaborate with physicians and care teams. Pendant Staffing assists with visa sponsorship, relocation, licensing, and assimilation into the U.S. healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct nursing care to residents
Observe and interpret patient symptoms, reporting to physicians
Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting
Assist in comprehensive patient assessments and care planning
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Provide services within nursing scope (catheterization, tube feedings, wound care, blood draws, etc.)
Candidate Requirements
U.S. Registered Nursing License or NCLEX RN exam passage
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Basic computer skills
Experience in skilled nursing or long‑term care settings
Compensation and Benefits
Pay: $30–$32 per hour (based on experience)
