Identity Governance and Administration Developer
We are seeking an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Developer who will be instrumental in deploying and managing the Saviynt IGA solution for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The candidate will oversee integration and secure data exchange between mission partners and VA's identity management systems. The role requires collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with VA's identity management policies.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience with IAM tools and platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Identity Manager, Microsoft Active Directory Federation Service (ADFS), Entra ID, Ping Identity, SailPoint, ForgeRock, or CyberArk Identity
4+ years of experience with Identity Federation where multiple identity stores exist
2+ years of experience with application onboarding in Saviynt
Experience developing custom XML and Java code for workflows and automation, and implementing workflows for joiner, mover, and leaver processes
Experience with certification and access requests
Experience with IAM technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, OIDC, OAuth, SAML, and PKI
Knowledge of IGA principles, enterprise directory architectures, defining and enforcing access control policies, and ensuring appropriate access based on roles and responsibilities
Ability to collaborate with teams proactively to address technology issues with applications, including infrastructure and code
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
HS diploma or GED
Nice to Have
Experience working in an Agile delivery team
Experience presenting technical briefs to senior leadership
Knowledge of various Access Control Frameworks, including NIST 800-63
Ability to lead and coach technical staff
Possession of excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in CS or Software Engineering
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
Compensation
Salary is determined by location, education, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 annualized USD. This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
