We are currently looking to hire a

Veterinary Technician

to join our team at

Animal Medical Care .

Compensation, Schedule & Location

Compensation:

$18-25/hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location

Schedule:

Full-time, 36 hours per week, 9-10 hour shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays, with 1-2 weekends per month

Qualifications & Responsibilities

2+ years of veterinary clinical experience as a veterinary assistant or technician required.

Understands the importance of excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Passion for working with animals and their owners.

Provet or ezyVet experience is a plus.

Knowledge of industry tools and equipment.

Experience with proper animal handling and restraint of a variety of species.

Ability to perform nursing care in a veterinary hospital setting.

Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare.

Basic understanding of common medications, vaccinations, and preventatives.

Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per the doctor's orders.

Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.

Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
