Physical Requirements
Intermittently sitting at a computer workstation, occasional standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds, lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to or over 50 pounds; some travel; exposure to risk of back injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; exposure to combative or violent people; exposure to cuts or punctures. Non‑Violent Crisis Prevention certification required.
Shift
Three 12.5‑hour shifts per week (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.), with occasional weekends and holidays.
Job Summary
The Mental Health Associate assists a licensed healthcare provider in the delivery of patient care to adolescent or adult patients with a primary psychiatric diagnosis.
Skills and Knowledge
CPR
BCLS
Crisis Prevention Institute certification preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology
Schedule flexibility is a plus

Preferred Education/Experience
One to three years of experience, preferably from work in an allied health field.
