Position

Lockheed Martin Space is looking for an entry level Antenna Test Engineer in Littleton, CO to develop and execute tests for satellite, spacecraft, and missile antenna systems. In this role, the successful candidate will work in a multi-facility electromagnetics test complex consisting of large scale anechoic chambers equipped with automated / robotic test systems, for purposes of gathering and subsequent analysis of wireless transmission performance data. They will also collaborate with senior electromagnetics engineers to troubleshoot / improve various antenna designs. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics and completion of course work in any of the following: Electromagnetic field theory, Microwave / RF engineering related courses, and Antenna engineering courses.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute tests for satellite, spacecraft, and missile antenna systems in a multi-facility electromagnetics test complex.
Gather and analyze wireless transmission performance data using large scale anechoic chambers with automated/robotic test systems.
Collaborate with senior electromagnetics engineers to troubleshoot and improve antenna designs.
Support test plans, data collection, and reporting to enable design improvements.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics or closely related disciplines from an accredited college or university.
Must be a US Citizen.
Completion of course work in one or more of the following: electromagnetic field theory, microwave / RF engineering related courses, antenna engineering courses.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time. The work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week; some may be condensed to provide additional time away from the office. This is in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Range: The annual base salary range in certain states is $60,200 - $106,030. Salary ranges vary by location and are provided as a general guideline. Offers consider scope, experience, education/training, and market factors.
