MAINTENANCE TECH
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes ranging in size from 5 ton to 100 ton.
Remove, rebuild and reinstall hydraulic pumps and cylinders.
Thorough knowledge of gears, bearings and bushing installation and removal.
Knowledge of CNC controls from FANUC, Heidenhain and Siemens to aid in repair.
Remove and reinstall CNC machine spindles of various sizes and designs.
Efficiently diagnose electrical failures in CNC type equipment.
Basic understanding of refrigeration relating to CNC machine chillers.
Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
Ability to bend & install electrical conduit and solder copper piping
Remove, repair, and reinstall varying types of CNC machine way covers.
Service rotary screw type air compressors, such as oil and filter changes.
Understanding of plastic injection molding equipment and related process.
Understanding of PM programs and it related tasks.
Ability to comfortably work from heights on ladders and aerial boom lifts.
Qualifications
At least 5 years previous experience of being a well-rounded maintenance mechanic
Knowledge of welding, electricity, and other related disciplines is desired
