General Statement of Duties
Temporary position. Cannot exceed 29 hours per week. Tutor will work with small groups of students on targeted remediation.
Essential Duties
Use and evaluate instructional materials and resources, including Technology, that support the curriculum of math.
Plan instructional activities for students
Assess and maintain records of students' progress
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to promote student success
Provide individual and small group remediation
Encourage students by giving positive feedback and support
Use instructional resources that are research based and identified as best practices
Use a comprehensive collection of quick-check formative assessments that can be used to identify areas of need
Model and demonstrate that reading and writing are pleasurable and valuable activities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree is required.
Additional Information
$32.99 per hour. The schedule will be determined by the building principal.
