Pen Bay Hospital is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician. The position is 40 hours per week with a rotation of days and evenings. Working in a supportive role under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician – Acute Care role performs duties related to medication preparation, storage, distribution, disposition, and related clerical tasks.
Summary
Pen Bay Hospital is offering a sign-on bonus for eligible experienced Pharmacist Technicians. Eligible candidates are hired into a full-time or part-time position. The bonus amount is prorated for part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.
Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician – Acute Care performs a variety of duties related to medication preparation, storage, distribution, disposition, and related clerical tasks.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
License/Certifications:
Current or eligible for applicable state license as a Pharmacy Technician.
Experience:
None required.
Additional Skills/Requirements:
Proficient computer skills.

Compensation & Benefits
For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $3,000 sign-on bonus for all eligible experienced Pharmacist Technicians. Bonus is contingent on hire into a Full or Part-time position and is prorated for part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until more than 6 months separation from employment.
