We have an immediate opportunity to join our growing company. We are currently seeking a full-time
Hospital Account Manager
in the Pullman, WA territory. The Hospital Account Manager is a member of the health care team, which provides care and services for patients. Promotes and provides support for the Pacific Medical Hospital Partnerships and meet all required quality and performance criteria. Provided support for patients, family and other healthcare providers in the delivery of these services. Promotes optimum delivery of care for the patient that requires services as requested by physicians and other healthcare providers. Provide assistance to the health care team in the performance of these duties. Functions as a collaborative and participative member of an interdisciplinary team, consistent with the mission and values of the surgical/orthopedic services department, the rehabilitation department, and the Medical Center.
Job Duties
Performs application of orthopedic soft goods and orthopedic devices such as CPM’s
Fits braces in the medical center
Measures for, orders and fits lumbar-sacral orthotic body jackets, chair back, L-S corsets, ankle-foot orthotics and other devices as necessary
Perform dressing changes using the aseptic technique with assistance from nursing personnel and apply soft goods such as CPM
Participate in the coordination of inpatient care regarding soft goods placement such as CPM placement and maintenance
Screen calls, pages, and emails regarding patient status and report potential problems to respective physicians and other care providers
Act as a resource to nursing and therapy staff and provide in-service training as needed
Facilitate interaction with custom Orthotic and Prosthetic care and function as a patient advocate
Work under the supervision of nursing and therapy to provide care and service to the patients and their families. Receive direction from the clinical staff for the delegation of tasks. Adhere to policies and procedures associated with patient care
Appropriately communicate and legibly document all care provided to the patient, as well as report changes in patient condition in a timely manner
Collaborate with nurses and other team members to organize and prioritize functions necessary for patient care delivery
Demonstrate competency for appropriate soft goods such as CPM per MD orders
Maintain annual competencies such as age competency
Demonstrate the ability to take initiative, prioritize and demonstrate professional accountability
Adhere to Medical Center policies/procedures and core values
Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements
College Degree - Associate or Bachelor preferred
High school diploma will be considered if there is existing experience
Great communication skills and time management experience
Ability to maintain inventory of consigned products
Competent in basic Windows-based operating system (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Email, etc.)
Background in sports, sports medicine, or human anatomy preferred
Compensation Range
$42,000-$60,000 annually with an expense reimbursement for all eligible expenses associated with driving on behalf of the company.
