Security Officer Patrol Driving Role (Annandale, NJ)

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Wed 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

Thur 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

Fri 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

What You’ll Do

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.

Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or disruptive behavior.

Support loss prevention awareness by documenting incidents, communicating with site contacts, and assisting with security-related issues that may arise during daily operations.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
