Overview
Heavy Porter (Hskpg)
A heavy porter in the housekeeping department is responsible for handling various tasks to ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the facility.
Responsibilities
Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
Responsible for running all heavy duty equipment, shampooing carpets, polishing marble, waxing floors, moving furniture, and heavy cleaning within the guest complex of Housekeeping Department.
Responsible for heavy cleaning duties throughout the food and beverage areas including the loading dock.
Performs any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Prior experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Familiar with all types of heavy duty cleaning equipment (shampooers, scrubbers, etc.).
