Responsibilities
Climb trees to perform pruning, removals, and other essential tree care services.
Operate and maintain climbing gear, chainsaws, and rigging equipment safely and efficiently.
Assess tree health and stability, identifying and addressing potential hazards.
Apply proper pruning techniques to promote tree health and enhance appearance.
Safely remove hazardous branches and trees, minimizing risks to people and property.
Work closely with the ground crew to ensure safe and efficient debris removal.
Maintain job site safety and cleanliness in accordance with company policies.
Communicate professionally with clients, offering expert advice on tree care.
Qualifications
Experience in tree climbing and arboriculture practices.
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred.
Ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure with a strong focus on safety.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills and techniques.
Reliable transportation to job sites.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Compensation
$1,000 sign‑on bonus
— $500 at 6 months and $500 at 1 year. Competitive wage with opportunities for overtime, especially during storm cleanup and peak seasons.
