Responsibilities
This is a full-time exempt position. You will be responsible for managing your pre-litigation caseload, generating demand letters, initiating and overseeing the litigation process, negotiating pre-litigation matters, and other duties consistent with the position. You will review and analyze the validity of cases, create legal documents, organize case information, and review laws and regulations. You will receive a monthly bonus incentive.
Requirements
License in good standing to practice law in Georgia.
Maintain consistent communication with clients during the pre-litigation phase.
Must work closely with case managers and other support staff during the pre-litigation phase.
Minimum of 5 years Plaintiff Personal Injury experience.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to multi-task and handle tasks quickly and tactfully with all levels of Firm personnel and the public.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong client service skills.
Ability to handle all aspects of litigation including matters with jurisdiction in federal court.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude, self-motivated and professional.
Detail-oriented and motivated.
Maintain heavy communication with clients and adjusters.
Initiate welcome calls with new clients.
Gather case details such as photos, treatment information, and insurance information.
Conduct settlements proceedings.
Negotiate all liens and final balances with treating providers.
Correspond with medical providers to ensure clients are receiving adequate medical treatment.
Assist with property damage when needed.
Strong work ethic and strong negotiation skills.
Job Type
Full-time.
Pay
First 90 days: guaranteed salary of $160,000. After 90 days, base changes to $110,000 with monthly bonus incentives up to $10,000 per month.
