Head Brewer

Texas Craft Brewers Guild, Driftwood, TX, United States

Vista Brewing is seeking an experienced and community-focused Head Brewer to join our team. Vista has 20-barrel brewhouse, a library of wine & spirits barrels, a beautiful tasting room, an expansive beer garden, and farm table restaurant situated on 21 acres of Texas ranch land, just 20 minutes south of Austin. On our property we have an aquifer-fed well, regenerative farm & apiary all of which contribute to the experience at Vista Brewing.

The Head Brewer we’re looking for has spent 7+ years commercially brewing in a mature market and has a proven ability to create world-class beers. That experience will enable scaling production to support a busy beer garden, a targeted distribution footprint, and a barrel aging program. The Head Brewer has the expertise to own production from source to glass, attract and grow a top-notch production team, inspire front of house team members, and to continue growing the brewing program at Vista Brewing that our guests have come to love.

The Vista property sits in the middle of one of the fastest growing craft beer communities and at the gateway of one of the most visited wine regions in the country. We have relationships with local wineries, where we source freshly dumped barrels, and are looking for a talented brewer to help continue this unique program.

Austin is a vibrant community of artisan enthusiasts. Keeping Austin “weird” is at the heart of what makes it one of the fastest growing cities in the US. As part of the Vista Brewing team, the Head Brewer join this craft community. Vista is focused on community involvement, collaborating with craft beer and hospitality community and giving back to our local neighborhoods.
