Overview
Activities Coordinator
The Activities Coordinator plans, organizes and leads recreational, social, and educational activities for guests. The goal of the role is to create engaging programs thar promote enjoyment, social interaction, wellness and overall guest satisfaction. i
Responsibilities
Walk pool area and remove newspapers, trays, empty ash urns, remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning.
Practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests, fellow employees and self.
Handle items for “lost and fond” according to the hotel standards.
Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
Experience in event planning, recreational programs, hositality services preferred.
Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and or 20 pounds of force consistently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
