Job Description
Schedule: 40 hours per week - 4X10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday 7am - 1730pm with rotating holidays and potential weekend coverage.
Location: 7727 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, FL 32822
Performs diagnostic electrocardiograms and independently conducts ECG testing.
Positions and applies electrodes correctly, ensuring proper application of Holter Monitors.
Identifies and corrects for wandering, interference, and artifact during procedures.
Obtains all necessary information for accurate interpretation and communicates abnormal findings to the nurse or physician promptly.
Manages unmatched lists and responds to patient orders in a timely manner.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to read, write legibly and perform basic mathematical functions [Required]
Ability to provide care to the population served [Required]
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
Ability to assess data regarding patient status and health [Required]
Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of diverse backgrounds [Required]
Education
High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

1+ experience with electronic medical records [Preferred]
1+ experience with ecg machines [Required]
1+ performing ecgs for 1 yr in a hospital setting [Preferred]
