Summary
Entry-level state electrical journeyman with the ability to perform commercial or industrial electrical work with minimal supervision in a high-quality and safe manner.
Duties
Maintains 80% production rate with proper tools and materials.
Completes 8 hours of continuing education annually.
4+ years of electrical construction experience.
5 years performing quality electrical installations.
OSHA 10 Hour Awareness Training.
Installs and maintains electrical equipment (control panels, switchboards, etc.).
Connects and disconnects electric powered machines.
Repairs motors and generators.
Replaces fuses and sets circuit breakers.
Diagnoses electrical problems using wiring diagrams.
Works independently and as part of a team.
Provides guidance to junior electricians.
Mentors apprentices.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Working knowledge of NEC.
Apprenticeship completion or 24 hours continuing education annually.
