Security Officer (Experienced Driving Role) – Ashville, OH

Pay Rate:
$25.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Tuesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, production, storage, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or contractor access as directed by site policies, and support orderly movement of people, vehicles, and materials throughout the location.
Assist with incident reporting, communication, and follow-up during medical, weather, fire, and/or other critical situations in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
Minimum Requirements
Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
