About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Auto Technician to join our team at Friendship Kia. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of technician experience. Manufacturer or ASE certifications are preferred, but on‑job training will be strongly considered.
What You'll Do
Safely drive vehicles to test components and systems
Accurately estimate the time needed for service
Use tools and service equipment to diagnose and maintain vehicles
Efficiently perform work specified on Repair Orders
Execute repairs to manufacturer specifications and customer expectations
Communicate any issues or additional needs to Assistant Service Managers
Adhere to dealership procedures for safety and quality standards
Qualifications
Broad knowledge of automotive mechanics
Basic computer skills
Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service specifications
Independent starter who can work well on a team
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
