Job Description/Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management Inc.1.com (SCMI1) has an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Maintenance Technician positioned to support the MK 57 NATO Sea Sparrow Surface Missile System (NSSMS). The role supports the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) C293 Self Defense Weapons Systems Division, providing MK 57 engineering and technical support services on U.S. Naval Ships in port and underway at U.S. Naval facilities and shipyards.

MARMC: Naval Station Norfolk - Norfolk, VA 23511
Provide onsite support to conduct specified engineering/technical evaluations, perform equipment functional checks, troubleshooting/test/analysis, and equipment repair to correct: NSSMS (MK 57), RAM (MK 31), or CIWS (MK 15).
Formulate and present findings, briefings, status reports, and correspondence for all stakeholders such as TYCOM, ISEA, MARMC, and Ship’s Force.
Provide on-board maintenance and technical support (OBMT) to Ship\'s Force technicians in the operation, repair, maintenance, and logistics support of NSSMS, RAM, or CIWS.
Perform/provide support during shipboard Combat Systems tasks including ICMP tasking, TSRA, C5RA, INSURV programs, Sea Trial acceptance to include Pre-Action Calibrations (PAC) firings, and Tech Assist events.
Duties may require rapid results in a stressful environment in order to meet ship’s mission requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements

At least 6 years’ experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and assessing NSSMS, RAM, or CIWS.
Must possess one or more of the following NECs:
V31A - NATO Sea Sparrow Surface Missile System (NSSMS) MK 57 Mods 10 and Above
V27A - NATO Sea Sparrow Surface Missile System MK 57 MOD 2, 3 Technician
V10A - Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) MK 31 Mod 1 & 3 Guided Missile Weapons Systems Technician
V39B - MK 15 MODS 31-33 SeaRAM CIWS Technician
V02A - Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) Phalanx Block 1B Baseline 2 Technician
V18A - CIWS MK 15 BLOCK 11-14 Technician
V19A - Phalanx Close-In Weapon System MK 15 MOD 11-14, 21, 22, and 25-28 Technician
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain security clearance and pass required background checks/assessments as required. Active high-level Security Clearance will be required; current Security Clearance is desired.
Physical requirements for efficient navigation aboard US Navy ships include the stamina, strength, agility, and endurance to walk continuously for extended periods, adequate upper and lower-body strength to climb ladders, stairs, ramps, and work aloft, and agility to enter/exit confined spaces (tanks, voids, and spaces/compartments with manhole access).
