Overview
Lead Massage Therapist (LMT) | Manager Role in Portland, OR at Tiny Massage Cart. Tiny Massage Cart is expanding into the Portland area and we’re seeking an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist ready to step into a leadership and management role.
This is a hands-on position for someone who not only provides excellent massage therapy, but can also help lead a team, manage scheduling, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality massage therapy services
Help manage daily schedules to maintain strong booking flow
Maintain a high level of schedule utilization and support full treatment room capacity
Support and coordinate with a team of providers
Handle call-outs and ensure clients are taken care of without disruption
Step in or arrange coverage when needed
Maintain a calm, professional, and solution-focused environment
Compensation & Benefits
$55–$60 per service hour
Tips are additional ($10–$20 per service on average)
Monthly management pay ($1,000–$1,500)
Performance-based bonuses tied to schedule utilization and spa performance
Additional incentives for last-minute coverage
Estimated Annual Earnings
$65,000 – $85,000 (typical range)
$85,000 – $100,000+ (high performance potential)

Qualifications
Licensed Massage Therapist (Oregon)
Previous leadership or management experience required
Active malpractice insurance required
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
Ability to lead, support, and hold team accountability
