Responsibilities
As a

Case Aide , you will assist workers in supporting children and families, while gaining valuable work experience in the social work field. You will use your passion for helping others and social work skills to assist workers in developing safety plans to prevent future abuse and neglect of children and youth, helping to provide connections to community partners dealing with a variety of issues such as mental health, poverty and domestic abuse. You will assist in connecting youth in care and youth with service to summer‑time educational and recreational programs and provide support and relief to foster parents.

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Education, and Skills

Students enrolled in a College or University program in a field related to the position.

Between the ages of 15 and 30 at the start of employment.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, complex, and demanding environment.

Excellent relationship‑building, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work professionally in a team environment.

Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office.

Valid G‑class driver’s license and daily use of a vehicle with $1,000,000 auto liability insurance.

Ability to provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector/Criminal Record Check upon hire.

Rate of Pay
$20.39 per hour for 35 hours a week.
