As our Inventory Control Associate you will be responsible for overseeing and participating in many key warehouse functions, including but not limited to receiving incoming deliveries, cycle counting, and reviewing the quality of product. You will manually handle product and use industrial Power Equipment and other Warehouse Management Equipment.

Essential Functions: **

Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy and maintain optimal stock levels

Perform Customers Substitutions and Review short product lists

Manage Inventory reports including REC, Frozen and Expiration

Verify proper storage of Glass, Allergens, Chicken

Perform Inventory Adjustment in ERP

Partner with Order Selectors to Audit Orders for Accuracy and Quality

Partner with the Buyers on product availability

Receive, inspect, and unload incoming products to maintain inventory accuracy and quality standards

Utilize industrial power equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to support daily warehouse operations

Utilize the ERP System to manage inventory, process transactions, and maintain accurate data records

Perform vendor returns in accordance with company procedures, including verification, packaging, and system updates

Work with Buyers to receive credit for damaged goods

Communicate with Day Warehouse team to address issues and maintain workflow efficiency

Manage Intercompany Transfers and handle purchase and sales orders in the system

Manage dock shortage communication by identifying missing items and coordinating short chases with relevant team

Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate verbally and written, bilingual is a plus

Able to use industrial Power Equipment including Stand-up Forklift and Walkie/Ride Along Pallet Jack

Able to work on Sunday’s and Holidays

At least 1+ years of recent and successful experience performing the above functions in a significant produce distribution or processing center, or a significant food manufacturing and distribution operation

Proficient skills in Inventory Management Software, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), common E Mail systems

Schedule:

Start time: 6:00am – 2:30pm or until work is completed

5-day work week: (Sunday – Friday) Saturday off and another day during the week, with occasional 6 day work weeks during peak season

40-45 hours per week

Physical Demands:

Work in cold and wet cooler conditions as low as zero degrees, for extended periods of time

Able to lift 65lbs occasionally, must be able to lift 25lbs consistently

Stand or sit for long periods of time

Compensation:

$19.00 to $21.00 depending on experience
