Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an experienced
Cyber Capabilities Developer
to support a critical national security mission. In this role, you will conduct development activities that directly support customer objectives, with a focus on rapidly delivering capabilities to address real-time challenges.
This position requires hands-on experience with
cybersecurity tools, network topologies, and secure network environments . The selected candidate will apply their expertise across software engineering, development, and the configuration and management of complex, mixed networking environments.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
HS Diploma plus 8 years of software development experience
Python experience
Knowledge of TCP/IP stack
Knowledge of switching and routing protocols
Ability to work across Mac, Windows, and Linux environments
Experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain polygraph
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting CNO/CNE environments
Experience with additional programming languages such as C/C++, JavaScript
Familiarity with hardware engineering concepts
Experience with memory analysis and PCAP data analysis

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
